potluck and slave labor

I've been working alot, mostly alone, which doesn't produce many interesting stories. It does give me a little too much time to imagine worrisome situations. and listen to music. That part's nice. So, swans do mate for life apparently. A friend of mine told me that there was one in the pond near where she lived that fell in love with a swan-shaped paddleboat and would follow it around the pond all day until it was exhausted. They had to put time constraints on the paddleboat rides so they wouldn't kill the swan. Now they're a little concerned about what will happen when he tries to fly south with his lady-boat.
