I absolutely feel loved during all this:) It's not easy to adjust to being an amputee, but with so much emotional support and care from the people that I love, I know it's going to happen. One day, when I'm a little lesas drugged, I will actually start posting the details of the surgery and such. I'm a little too foggy and still painful at the moment, plus the drugs have turned me into complete typos-r-us. Once I get stronger, and am back home on my own little computer, I will also have more time to spend on the internet, on the plyus side! I'm looking forward to getting astarted, but still very exhausted right now.

Now, can you just manage to flag down the Menopause Fairy and tell her I'm ready for her, now? It's cosmically unfair that I have to deal with all this and then have to deal with female issues besides! However, I still have a catheter, so I guess I should be grateful for that, huh? I won't have to get off the internet to go potty. Then again, I'm usually too tired to get on the internet very much right now, anyway. And, on the plus side, some of the drugs are really good!

Hey, if I'm typing with this many drugs in my system, can underwater basket-weaving be far behind? Kiddo, the hospital internet connection has blocked me from half the internet, so I will have to try to catch everybody more after i get out of here and get home to my own nice little computer. On the plus side, I have figured out how to deliver up vengeance against slow and stupid nursing staff by crapping on my bed. LOL. Then, very apologetically and sweetly saying, "Oh, I'm so sorry, I had a little accident. Could you clean that up, please?" Fortunately, the nursing staff over here at the rehab hospital are greatly improved from the ones that I told you about on the phone at Community. I shall be making efforts to comandeer the computer here again a little later on to type out some more repilies, but wanted to get a few hellos in and let the folks on LJ at leat know that I am still alive, if somewhat drugged and missing a flipper.
