Yep, ducky went shopping today. It was kind of fun, then kind of annoying, then downright ticking me off kind of shopping. It started out very nice, though, and it will be better in six days. That is when my new, improved Wonder Computer and all it's many new toys and pieces parts will arrive, and this ducky will be screaming along the Internet ( Read more... )

Hee hee, Private ducky may soon be appearing with "field reports" from a livejournal near you! I'm still working on getting everything I need to take over the world, but the new Sparky the Wonder Computer 10,000 will be a BIG step in the right direction! Now, if only I could find a way to hook it up to the duckymobile so I can program my chair to do fantastic, amazing things!

Oh, they are gonna be good! I already took one of me taking a bath (okay, more like getting ready to take a bath), and one of me in my wheelchair, and one of me selecting a videotape. Trouble is, the files are still huge, and it looks like I can't really fix them until the new computer comes, because this old one does not have any photo editing software. My new one will be loaded with Photo Shop, Paint Shop, and some other "toys" to play with, not to mention some stunning security software that will make me pretty much bullet-proof. I'm planning a trip to the computer store after it's all installed, so I can add even more software to keep me busy, like stuff I can make videos with, stuff to control the world with, and stuff so I can transfer files to my web page and finally update it. It's all going to be very technical stuff, and contain lots of big, professional words that I don't know yet.

Oh, yeah, I will be the fastest ducky on wheels, or on the Internet! I'm sorry about your tea. I've found that the solution to this problem is to eat pudding while reading my posts. It will still be spewed, but the results are lots more fun to look at! Especially if you like pistachio pudding.

I got that Kodak EasyShare C813, along with a 2-gig memory chip, so I can take many, many pictures! Of course, I haven't figured out hall to use all the features yet, but I will, Oh, yes, I WILL. I like the squee picture - that's kind of what i looked like while i was finding the components I wanted for my new 'puter!

yay!

Well, if you start to have "power" issues with the camera, like it's chewing thru batteries, won't turn on, etc - make SURE you contact Kodak and demand a new camera. Some of their models ROCK and others? Problematic. And, their customer service people tend to be asshats unless you get really forceful with them. This is from what I've seen working at the camera shop for the past 2 years.

*HUGS* and happy shooting!!!! (that phrase is ONLY appropriate with photography, hunting, and billards/basketball. lmao)

:D
