Nakeisha nominated me to post covers of seven books I love - one cover a day for a week. There is to be no explanations or reviews, just covers.

Each time I post I am supposed to ask someone else to take up the challenge.  I'm not really sure who to tag or comfortable with that part, so if you would like to be tagged, please let me know

Another interesting looking book. And having just looked it up, it looks even more intriguing.

This is one of the best 'modern" (20th or 21st century) books that I have ever read. A friend's mom recommended it, and I was very skeptical due to the title. The first copy I bought had a much more misleading cover too. ;-) This one matches the feel a bit better.

Like you, I always hesitate to recommend books to other people, especially until I really know their reading preferences. That said, I've now purchased over two dozen copies of this book and have given them to people who asked for a book recommendation. Only one person wasn't hooked, and she much prefers shorter books. If you decide to try it, I will give you my one warning about it. It's not wise to begin reading it when you need to go to sleep or know you have to get up in the morning at a reasonable time. I warned my then boss, and she started it one evening at a conference and stayed up until 5 am reading just a bit more. ;-)

P.S. I quite enjoyed Fire in the Thatch.

Gosh, really? That does sound very good then.

Goodness me; you really do like it. I have downloaded a sample of it for my Kindle, so will see how that goes. Thanks for the heads-up on that.
