Under a few tangled blankets that may or may not have been part of some kind of anti-storm tent at some point during the previous night, Jude half-woke and stretched before curling closer to the form spooned up with him. The arms and body were still thin and blond hair still tickled Rikku's cheek, but the dude was very much back

She still jerked awake every time the thunder cracked, but anti-storm tents had pretty strong powers, and so did way awesome snuggly warm and soft Judes. So she settled back in and ...

Hey, he was shaped differently this time. She peeked over at the sleeping form. Hey! Her girlfriend was back to being her boyfriend.

She nuzzled him lightly and smiled, already drifting back to sleep.

Jude had picked up the habit of back-rubbing while still asleep. He mumbled something vague and comforting, nuzzling back.

Rikku squeezed back, and sighed. It was a happy kind of sigh, despite the fact that the storm seemed to be getting worse. Because it was out there, and she was in here, all warm and safe. Okay, still flinching a bit, but hey.

She burrowed into the covers and the boyfriend a little bit more. And kissed the very tip of his chin. She didn't want to wake him up, as he looked all content and sleepy, but she couldn't resist. As he looked ... well. All content and sleepy.

Jude let out a sleepy happy purr and nuzzled closer without waking up entirely. He was getting there. Almost. Really.
