"We're not going to die!" Blair yelled at Jude, holding onto the belt tightly as the two of them sped around a corner. Blair cringed as he swung really close to a brick wall. A green plastic cup came soaring past them as someone chasing them yelled about 'hugging freaks'.

Blair frowned and yelled back. "I hope you recycle that later!"

"So maybe this was a bad idea!" Jude yelled, crouching lower to zoom in a swift zig-zag around a leprechaun in a foam suit.

The leprechaun in the foam suit started yelling obscenities about Jude's parentage and Blair stuck his tongue out at him as he was zig-zagged around him.

"No kidding! I thought New Yorkers would like free hugs! I was even extra bouncy!"

"If we were in Toronto -" Jude ducked another flung cup "- this totally would have worked!"

On her way back to the hotel after a simply awesome and handwavey because I know so little about it afternoon checking out Wall Street (kind of a bummer to be there on a Saturday, but whatever, she was there), Turtle could only gawk a little as what she thought she saw. Was that Hippie Kid being pulled by Skaterjude and a small stumbling mob chasing after that?

Turtle blinked and shook her head. She decided she didn't want to know.

"Hi bra!"

Jude kept zooming.

"Bye bra!"

Blair waved cheerfully over his shoulder at Tori, as several members of the mob slipped in the puddle of water.

Pippi was very pleased to have not caused an international incident at the UN when she noticed Jude and Blair filling the gap for her as she walked back to the hotel to grab something.

She waved cheerfully.

"Hi Pippi!" Blair yelled and waved back as they zoomed by.

Pippi started running backwards to keep up with them.

"Hi Blair!" she chimed cheerfully. "Might I ask if this angry mob here is meant for you?"

"Perverts!" An angry mob member yelled, tossing a green foam finger at the boys.

Blair ducked and then grinned at Pippi. "Yup. Free hugs day didn't go over so well here."

While searching for a good gift for Ami, a certain ninja stealthily infiltrated the mob and tripped a few of the more hostile ones. Then he extricated himself from the ensuing fist fight. Not all of them were distracted, but it evened the odds for his friends a bit better.

"Irish." he muttered.
