Congratulations on your petition acceptance! That is really awesome. Good luck with everything else left to do with setting it up!

Boy, I am lagging on my Japanese. I hope to make up for it by moving back to Japan next Winter, in 2008. Japanese grammar is possibly the hardest part about learning the language. Once you go abroad things will eventually fall into place and it will get easier. By the way, when are you planning on going to Japan? You were going to study abroad there, correct?

Thanks!!

Yeah I'm going to Kyoto for the next academic year. Hopefully it will help me be able to actually use my Japanese in public, as my conversational skills are really lacking right now... I need to become a lot more flexible, so hopefully this will help lol.

Awesome! Kyoto is so wonderful, I am excited for you! Make sure to make at least one visit to my second-home, Kobe, while you are there! :)
So will you be there from August until May? We may be there at the same time for part of your stay, if I am able to land a job like I want to. *crosses fingers*

I think the program starts in September and ends at the end of April. I want to try to land an internship with the state department somewhere in Japan though, so I might end up being there until the following July or August.

That's pretty cool that you've made that much of an impact but forgive my ignorance when I ask what does progressive encompass?
