I'm still pissed with all the support he has. The rapper Kanye West said, "Bush doesn't care about black people." and now he can't do any shows without being faced with jeers and booos. I don't understand why they are so passionate about Mr. Bush, these republicans.
me neither...at least his approval rating is at an all-time low. and there are quite a few Republicans who are pissed at him. i just don't get why anyone would support him in the first place.
only now everyone will be like "aww, he's a compassionate conservative again! Let's take people's rights away and give tax cuts to the rich!! We love our President!!!" There's no doubt Karl Rove has something to do with this.
I agree with you though that those approval numbers make my giddy in my pants. But of course those numbers won't stop him from appointing pricks to the supreme court (2 already!) and signing in numerous moronic bills in the nest 3 years he's still president.
actually, i'm not really convinced that this was really up to him. i think his people were like 'dude, you gotta do this. suck it up and be a man.' but still, i'm surprised it happened. now i just hope that America isn't ready to forgive him. admitting a mistake doesn't make up for hundreds (or thousands) of deaths.
