So. A question about this evolution matter.

Is your partner supposed to go violently out of control when it happens?

Not typically no.

There is an event known as Dark Evolution however where such things occur.

Dark evolution... why do they call it that?

Evolution is fueled by your emotions, when dark emotions such as rage, jealousy and the like are the fuel for your Digimon then will perform as you stated.

It can also be brought on by a forced evolution and a tamer and partner who aren't in sync to my understanding.

From what I've heard, that's not supposed to happen. Out of control would be counter productive to helping you, which is what they're supposed to do.

Does this have anything to do with what happened to Rin?

... So how does it happen?

And it's kind of obvious it does, isn't it?

It's never happened to me, but I get that it's supposed to have something to do with negative emotions. Though I'm guessing there's a severity to them that triggers it, because Gomamon evolved normally when I was angry but trying to protect Sabine and my kids.

Could you cut the attitude for a few seconds? I'm not an idiot for asking, you know.

I actually don't know what happened aside from Rin going berserk and trying 'harvest people's arms'. Haku won't talk about it. At all. Gaku can't seem to remember anything, and the twins aren't talking either. I'm a part of this family too, like it or not, so I don't appreciate being left in the dark or snapped at for asking a question.

Yeah, well, it wasn't exactly a good experience for anybody involved.

... But from what you're all telling me, this happened because I was understandably pissed off. Wonderful. That's really fair.

Hrn. Yeah, it messed up the little bug pretty bad. But that's not what I'm asking.

Worst of my emotions? Being angry because something intensely violent happened to me counts as "the worst of my emotions"?
