Apr 13, 2009 21:48

Okay, so basically, it's my last year of high school and I need a dress for prom night. And, well, this is it. Don't pay attention to my face or anything. Just... Well. This is it. :)

Ohhhhhhh that's a gorgeous dress!! It looks really nice on you too :D

Shoes??? I'd say heels...open toed ones, gold, silver, or just black would go bicely with that color, IMO. Flats/heel-less shoes would just make walking around a whole lot harder, trust me, I have to do this all the time for orchestra @____@ if you don't want uberuberuberhigh-take-one-step-and-twist-your-ankle heels, get some wedges (spreads weight out more evenly over a larger surface...easier to walk!) or just low sturdy heels :D no stilettos, if you want to keep your feet!! Haha XD

Anyways, that's just my advice, hope it was helpful? Sorry for the long rambly comment (as well as any potential typos I missed---typing on an iPod touch isn't exactly an easy task) but I'm so excited for you!!! Pretty dress for prom AND you're graduating!! *sniffle*

Much love, Minty

Heyyy Minty!!! *beams* Thanks for the compliment. n___n

The thing about heels is that I'm real tall, like, 5"9 tall. I don't really want to add to that festival of tallness. *grimaces*

The open toe comment is nice though, because I heard someone saying that with a long dress, you should go with open toe shoes. And the colours were basically what came through the brainstorming previously done.

How does no heel make walking hard? *frowns* I would think it'd be the other way around.

So, yeah. I am scared of being too tall, or of tripping on that darn dress because it's made so that the backward trails when I walk forward. Urgh.

But I love your input. =D That wasn't as long and rambly as I make my own comments, so don't worry. IMO, you can never be too long when adressing a comment to someone. *nods*

And, YEAH. I'm excited too. *squee* A bit more than two months to go. EEH.

*HUGS*

Thanks. n___n

So far, I've narrowed it down to open flats, or cute sandals without or with only low heels.

Repetitive compliments are nice~ n___n

I love the back *A* The whole dress is just lovely and sexay~ XD actually.

Hm, I think heeled shoes would really tie the whole thing together, Dudly-sama. At least one-inch ones (or maybe along that range?), so that you don't trip by stepping on the dress (because even if the length is 'just right' as it doesn't exactly drape on the ground, IMO you still need the heels to not trip over the dress) and not too high that you... well, trip. XD Gold strapped-sandals, I think, would be nice walking around in so you don't have to worry about the shoes slipping off.

Don't worry about being tall! It only makes the look even more awesome~ For me, straight gowns always look better on tall people. :3

Have fun at the graduation and at the prom, Dudly-sama! &hearts

THANK YOU. *hugs*

Gold-strapped sandals. Funny, I did think about that one. XDD

Heels. Well. I could get a very small heel, one that will make this infuriating CLICKCLICK noise when I walk around. XDD

I guess that tall makes the dress look nice, except that I DON'T like being tall. >__< I mean, I just have to include "Taller than me" in the list of things that I need my boyfriend to be like, and if I wear heels, I'll be like, GIANT and no boy will ask me to dance! Wouldn't that be sad?

(Though the fact that I don't dance well and the fact that I won't be able to step backward are already reason enough for me not to dance, I don't know. It'd be nice to just dance, at least to one song?)

Thankk you.

By the way, I don't think the &hearts works anymore. *shrugs*

*huggles back*

Because great minds think alike! XD And it would totally match the brooch.

D: It's their loss if they don't ask you! And think of it this way, in the long run, it'll be easier to see if a person is right for you or not since the population is smaller? I'm sorry if I'm not helping. ;o;

Really? It doesn't show when I open the LJ notification in hotmail, but the ♥ show when I open the reply at the actual site. *shrugs* Sometimes, I think it doesn't show on Internet Explorer browsers, too.

Dudly-chama! :DDD you're pretty like adslakdjasl.

Shoes? XD those strappy on kind, with the back support things. low heels, perhaps? My sister has loads of these and they go nicely with dresses. I would say like, a light silver / white, or black. And yesh, open toes! :D
Or you could just wear pumps / ballet flats. xD

Have fun , Dudly-chama! ~*♥*~

excuse me if coding fails. I haven't done that for a long time. :/

Somehow, I don't see white working out with this dress. I thought, maybe gold to go the broach, or silver, and if I get silver, maybe I should change the broach, but... Black might be another safe choice. *nods*

Thanks so much though! n___n

(And, oops. Just screwed up with my screen.)

(Your codes are working just fine. *beams*)
