I don't think that's true at all. Maybe for some guys but not all, you can't overgeneralize. I'm one of the most independent people I know, I buy all my own things and pay all my own bills, and I have a great guy. It's a matter of waiting for that right guy, he doesn't appear in your life when you want him to, he appears in your life when he is supposed to be there. Good luck.

Nah, horseshit April. I wouldn't date a girl who wasn't independent. My nightmare relationship is one when my girl is constantly asking me what to do, what to do! Make up your own mind, for the love of God! If you find a boy (and I mean boy) who wants a dependent girl, well, he'll be controlling, demanding, expect you to follow his way all the time... Ummm, not the ideal man in my estimation. The man you want is open, independent, strong willed, but not forceful, capable of making decisions, but flexible... He's out there somewhere April. Just be patient. He'll come around. Or maybe you'll find him, or a combination thereof. :)
