I used to read an ABSOLUTE SHITLOAD of webcomics in high school but then Queen of Wands ended and I angrily quit everything else with an ongoing plot [CORRECTION I didn't have the strength to angrily quit Friendly Hostility BUT I WISH I HAD] at one point or another so now besides Bad Machinery I mainly only read non-continuity comics. OH BUT STRONG FEMALE PROTAGONIST IS PRETTY COOL only I liked the first arc SO MUCH compared to the mildly confused interest I had in the second and now the third?

OH ALSO I MEANT TO SAY I GOT THE MURDER SHE WRITES BOOKLET FOR CHRISTMAS AND IT WAS AMAZING, DUH OBVIOUSLY I WAS GOING TO LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF A STORY ABOUT CHARLOTTE SOLVING MURDERS, but I also got Giant Days, HAVE YOU FUCKING SEEN GIANT DAYS? It's not connected to anything at all except through the shared IMPOSSIBLE LEVELS OF AWESOMENESS and fhjdksagfhrjklghfkgj I want more of it forever.

What also kills me dead about BM is these little nothing asides you get about everyone and how that colors everything you thought/think you know about the characters. Like, UGH JESUS, like the recent flashback to where we learn Lottie's dad died and "DON'T YOU EVER STOP MAKING A NOISE, CHARLOTTE GROTE" and how Shauna's stepdad looks out for her when she's getting bullied by Kelly from Misfits and you sort of get the impression that her old family/living situation was really bleak (Mrs. Biscuits was nice to her and her mom! They needed help and niceness from a broke old Russian lady-monster! SHE GAVE THEM BISCUITS SO SHE CALLED HER MRS. BISCUITS) but she's so determined and so SMART and she's a champ swimmer and UGHHHHHHHHHHH, GIRLS!!!! And Mildred! I LOVE MILDRED SO MUCH, shooting up illegal chocolate and trying to rebel but doing it all backwards because she was raised by hippies! IDK, NOW I'M JUST LISTING THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE AND I DON'T EVEN CARE! "IS THIS A DRILL?" "THE SHED IS ON FIRE. WE TRY TO MAKE EXCEPTIONS
