I DON'T KNOW!!!! I've thought a lot lately about the fact that I got better benefits as a part-timer at Walmart than I do here [or as a part-timer as a high-end game store, or at literally any other job I've ever had, which is A WHOLE OTHER RANT but whatever], and while I don't particularly care because I get health insurance through school and nothing else particularly matters since this job's really just a stepping stone, it was still SO JARRING to sit there and have them be like "you have it a lot better here than you would at most other part time jobs! We got that pizza last week! Sometimes we pay you for sick days!" LIKE..........ARE YOU SHITTING ME? I'm not about to pretend like I'm not compensated fairly given that I do NOTHING, and as someone whose cost of living is super low because I live with my parents and pay a fraction of market rates for rent, I don't have to worry too much about what an unpaid sick day would cost me or anything like that, BUT JESUS, IF I WERE ACTUALLY TRYING TO SUPPORT MYSELF WITH THIS JOB I'D HAVE
