Even Red Alert needs to take a break now and then, and such, his office is dark and empty. All the monitors, like the lights, are dark, though the feed continues to scroll onto secured databanks elsewhere. No telling where the security chief has gotten off to, or when he'll be back, but for the moment, his office is empty.

She takes in the dark1 stillness of the room in a blink, then shoves herself to her feet. She examines the room in rapid, almost bird-like, glances ( ... )

"Thought I was being paranoid, alarming my office, did they? I knew this truce wouldn't last. Just who the hell are you, and what exactly do you think you're doing?" he growls.
Damn stupid truce. Knew they couldn't be trusted. In the old days, he could have simply hit the general alarm and had... well... no one. They'd all quit responding to his general alarms, thinking him a paranoid hexnut. But at least he wouldn't have to wait for them to shoot at him first, damnit!

The fact that he's pointing weapons at her really doesn't enter into her mind as being a reason for him not to be Steelcircle ( ... )

Mainly because this isn't Red Alert.
"Welcome to Autobot City, Steelcircle," Inferno says cheerfully.

Steelcircle lets her expression take on the appearance of one who is gaping in wild-opticed wonder at a delightful sight, although she is far more analytical behind that facade. Where are the hidden guns? There have to be hidden guns. Now, smile for the security cameras. Let them know that she knows they're there. Steelcircle gushes, "Oh, this is fantastic. There's... there's... room here."

"That there is. And thousands of miles of open road to burn up outide the city. Red likes it," he says, still grinning.
Of course, Red Alert doesn't often take advantage of those open roads; it's hard to convince him to relax and take a day off to go do something so frivolous as unwind. Spaking of which...
// Red, where ya at? // Inferno comms his partner cheerfully.
Red Alert's response is... significantly less cheerful, and quite a bit more terse. // At the brig. //
Inferno frowns slightly, replying, // I thought you were taking the afternoon off? //
// I was. The Decepticons, apparently, had other plans. //
The Decepti- Aw hell. Inferno heaves a sigh, and turns to head down to the brig to join Red Alert. // On my way. //
"Red's down at the brig. Someone tied his tail in a knot. C'mon, I'll take ya down," Inferno explains, already leading Steelcircle along.

She notes Inferno's frown, evidently out of the clear blue... orange ceiling. Radio conversation, perhaps? His comment that Red Alert's down at the brig confirms it for her.
Steelcircle follows along after Inferno, behind him and to his left, such that while she is not entirely obscured by the taller robot, she isn't quite as obvious as she would be if she walked beside him. At the same time, she doesn't obviously look like she's hiding, the way she would if she followed directly behind him.
She asks, sounding concerned, "Do problems like these come up often?"

She sat at the back of her cell, back to the wall, face turned towards the guard booth. She didn't move, she didn't talk, and she hardly sparkled.

"This one's my business, Sky," he tells the big white Autobot following close behind. "Just go home and relax, I'll meet you there when this mess is sorted out."
Now which way was the brig? It wasn't actually near Red's office...

"I'll take you down to her cell," he says without preamble, offering him a welding visor. "She's been pretty cooperative so far."

Starscream takes the welding visor and stares at it for a moment. "She uses an optical attack like Jazz's, then?"
