Name a character that you know I write or have written, and I'll tell you:

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
b. One of his/her best traits.

Well... It was pretty much just Amanda saying, "Hey, come hold my hand," and the rest is history, but I've always had a fondness for Minerva, and she was quite unlike any character I'd ever attempted before (at least as a focus, and not just in passing) so I thought I'd give it a try.

b. One of his/her best traits.
She's willing to do pretty anything for her kids.

c. One of his/her worst traits.
Things tend to be very black and white for her. Shades of gray are few and far-between, and she's of the mind that they should be avoided anyways.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
It's still more difficult than I would like, but it's gotten easier. For a while I felt like someone had just pushed me into a pool (though I guess I jumped, didn't I?) and I hadn't yet learned how to swim. Now I know, but that doesn't mean it's any less work.

Again, Amanda poked me and said, "Hey, do me a favor," and I obliged, but I was drawn to the chance to mold my own little version of a Malfoy.

b. One of his/her best traits.
Silas is the ultimate impartial judge (unless his family is concerned) because he feels everything so deeply and genuinely. He's a peacemaker. He wants people to get along. He doesn't like it when they don't.

c. One of his/her worst traits.
Because he perceives others as emotional, he himself is very cool-headed. He feels a lot, but he tries very hard not to let it affect his reasoning and judgment.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
Writing Silas is... fairly easy, actually. At least in comparison to my other muses. The only muse that's easier is Bella, because she's basically a child who's never been told no.
