Christmas for Isaiah

It's a largish package, and heavy, wrapped in plain red paper with a snowy white bow. The tag reads "Isaiah, C'mere. Let's play family." and is signed by both Severus and Minerva, with a post script of "Guess who got to the tag first ( Read more... )

A kilt.

They got him a kilt. . . . and accessories.

Isaiah stared at the package and then the note. Kilt. Family. It was family. . .but it was a KILT...

He sighed and resigned himself to learning to love tartan.

Severus was laughing. He made no attempt to hide the laughter either. He hadn't understood what Minerva meant when she said his gift was in Isaiah's. But somehow, the expression on Isaiah's face was just so...perfect.

He laughed harder.

"Go ahead and try it on." Severus mused, his eyes shining. "You'll look precious."

"Severus," she admonished gently, hiding a smile behind her hand. "Don't tease him... Though you're right, I'm sure he'll be just adorable. Why don't the both of you get all dressed up and take a picture for me, hm? That would be a lovely Christmas gift, don't you think?"
