Okay here is the deal. I can't do on-line shopping without a guide. So, if you want to know what Minerva got your pup for Christmas, comment here and specify which timeline. Yes you can choose more than one timeline but just tell me which ones.

With gentle motions, Minerva takes the girl's tiny hand in her own, and lays a necklace in her palm. It's small, maybe the size of a quarter, but the tiny image is masterfully done.

"The son of a very good friend of mine made this. When he gave it to me, he asked me to pass it on to someone young, who still had their whole life ahead of them. Elephants are good luck, you see. They represent strength of spirit, intelligence, and longevity. He told me to give it to someone who would treasure it, and I couldn't think of a better person than you, my dear."

Neatly wrapped in golden paper, resplendent with a deep blue bow, and a note that reads, "I don't think I ever told you what happened to mine.

"Well," Minerva said, smiling. "I have just the thing for you. I took a little trip to Kenya a few months ago, and Kenya is famous for its wildlife preserves. When I got home, I had just enough time to put this together for you."

'This' turned out to be a black photo album filled to the brim with photographs of every wild animal imaginable: lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, gazelle and okapi and antelope. There were monkeys and gorillas and crocodiles and snakes and anteaters and zebras and a half a dozen other beasts, all stamping and snorting and roaring and hooting up from their bright little patches of African savanna.

"This is yours to keep, but you share it with your siblings and cousins and everyone else, all right?"

Harry Lupin was not easily rendered speechless, but as he held the album he could only stare at it in awe.

That was, at least, until he held it carefully with one arm so he could hug her tightly with his other one.

"Thank you thank you THANK YOU. This. is. brilliant!"
