who offering who a what

Until I took this directing class, I had honestly never expected to use the phrase, "Karl Rove offering Jesus a sandwich".

Look at it. Isn't it beautiful? I am seriously having to analyze a scene in which Karl Rove interrogates Jesus on Air Force One. I'm trying to use their names as much as possible, for maximum ridiculous effect.

What? XD The lack of context is somehow hilarious.

Karl Rove... offering Jesus a sandwich. OK. Was it grilled cheese? Did it have someone's face burnt into it? That was my first thought...

We're re-directing a scene from one of our professor's movies. (You can watch it online - myspace.com/inq409.) It's actually about Karl Rove (and other Bush administration people) interrogating Jesus. Yup.

And no, apparently it's a spinach sandwich that Karl Rove's wife made for him.

I see. How -- odd and interesting.

Ok, spinach sandwiches are much better than grilled cheese, if certainly more evil.
