Victoria - American or Canadian?

I had been assuming that Victoria was an American from Alaska, but recently saw it put forth that just because she robbed a bank in Alaska, that didn't mean she herself is native to Alaska -- she could be a Canadian who robbed an Alaskan bank. So...Victoria ...American or Canadian?

Dunno if anyone watches this still; that being said, in some research for Turnbull's backstory, I came across a picture of the Moose Jaw Detachment, South District; built in 1959, for the brief time Fraser was there, this was where he would have been working.

I remember, early in the series, a shot of Fraser ironing his boxers or his hat or something. Does anyone know what episode that's from? He was at home on Racine and Thatcher came in, I think. Also, did Fraser ever sew anything or am I imagining things?

Question - do we ever find out when Fraser was posted to Moose Jaw?

I know in the Pilot we learn Fraser had been on the force for 13 years and the largest city he has worked in was Moose Jaw but do we ever get a year mentioned for when that was?
