so i got new tires and wheels for my bike on monday, cost me 70 buckaroos. i need to learn how to do these repairs myself so i dont have a huge gaping hole in my pocket by the time i can ride competently. today is also the 5th day of not smoking and I seriously do not feel the urge to start again, i guess what they say is true about quitting. it

my friend in LA was telling me how they have this place called the bike kitchen, i think, that teaches you how to fix your bike for free. its all non-profit. i thought that was pretty cool.
