My brush with mortality

So an interesting thing happened on July 9th. Was short of breath, thought it was all the humidity we had been having because of some chronic bronchitis, and the next thing I knew the EMT's were loading me onto a stretcher after I did a full face plant outside of the grocery store

Daph, I'm so sorry to hear about all that. Aren't you entitled to any sick leave? Hope all goes well with the results. Please keep us posted. You were lucky to get the care you did. I imagine it's not much fun staying with your mother???

On a happier note we're off to Melbourne for our daughter's engagement party this Saturday. Should be fun.

Oh my gosh, how frightening! I hope the docs are able to discover where the clots are coming from quickly so you can get back to work and to life! In the meantime, I'm sending you best wishes and thoughts to continue to feel better :))
