Still out here, hun! You've had a terrible time, I'm so sorry to hear it. I hope you'll be getting well instead of having to go back to chemo.
Also sorry to hear about your mum. It's awful you can't visit her.
Not much going on here other than me losing 32 kilo's in three years and feeling so much better! I need new knees but I won't be able to get them until I weigh less than 90 kilo's so still have to lose another 17 or so.
there's also a story that's been brewing for two years and I'm working on it, but it's somehow hard to get it out. I keep trying though. *g* It's a story in the Spooks universe.
32 Kilos?!! That's fabulous. Congratulations! I would love to read that story, so get to writing already! Geez, I'm using a lot of exclamation points. :-)
You've been going to rough times and it's still going on. I hope another chemo can be avoided. So sorry to hear about your mother and yes, not being able to visit her is so hard to explain to her.
Thanks so much, my dear. You take care too. Although I think things are going a bit better where you are than the covidiots that inhabit this country. I just want to scream sometimes.
Oh Daphne! I had so hoped after your last post that things had gotten better. I'm so sorry you're going thru all of this. It must be so hard with your mom, too. You really got hit right between the eyes with everything. All my prayers and thoughts to you, honey! *hugs you tight*
So nice to hear from you. I hope you are practicing all of the mandates by the health professionals and not all of the crap the covidiots are doing. I think they are very selfish. If they get infected and don't know for a bit, they could infect their parents or grandparents -- coworkers, anybody. One of the things I miss dearly is going to plays, and I think here in the U.S., because of the Trumpanzees, it's going to be awhile before we see a live play!
Daph! What a trial! Cancer sucks, and it’s one hell of a bitch, but lately we’ve been making great strides in the war against the big C, and I hope that continues to work for you.
I can’t imagine the isolation that you are all going through in the US, separated from your loved ones like that. You shouldn’t feel guilty for things out of your control, and you are doing all you can being in touch regularly by phone. I’m sure it’s confusing for your mum, that’s not exactly a smooth transition into care. I hope you can be together again soon (safely - for both of your health).
These are crazy times! Keep yourself healthy and try to stay positive. Glad to see your humour is still holding out, despite the many trials.
so good to hear from you. I hope you and the family are doing well. Yeah, if we didn't have these Trumpanzees and Covidiots around, things would probably be a lot better here. But you always get the mantra of their civil rights are being trampled on. What about the rights of the people you go around when you don't know if you're sick or not. The lunancy of it all. The young people are especially worse here. They feel they are immune because they're young, when they could infect their parents or grandparents.
Eileen!! I was hoping you'd hop on. So good to hear from you. It's good to hear that you are well and still with family. I had IV therapy last week, and my nurse, Brian, said you're not on steroids right now, why are you so chatty? Because the only people I've talked to live has been the grocery store workers! I don't mind being alone, but I didn't realize that it's nice to talk to someone live and in person rather than emailing or texting all the time -- or speaking on the phone.
