the new job is going great. I was worried that I wouldn't like what I do or the people I work with and went forward knowing this is the best option I have for my future. Well the people I work with are great, and I really dig my job more than i thought I would ( Read more... )

See that's a tough call. McCartney's "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard", George Harrisons, "Brainwashed" are both contenders for this title as well. I would have to say that "Band on the Run" is definitely a GREAT ALBUM, and is possibly the best. I think you have just given me a great idea. I think I will spend a day listening to all three of those albums, individually and then mixed up and decide.

I really wish I could include a Lennon Album, but I really don't think anything he did would be "best post Beatles Album" other than "Rock N Roll Music" which is just covers, and I can't qualify that. I think I liked Lennon for his ideas and Genius more than his music, and when you hear his raw work, I like it better than the final production. I believe he overworked his music. The Acoustic Album Yoko released of Johns work is my favorite Lennon release to put on. Its beautiful.

Nice! I keep that song on the ol' iPod and just perk up every time it takes rotation. Now, of course, I have to hear you play it on your Mandolin. You better be good damnit.
