i can't believe it's almost over. it's been full of so many ups and downs, so much laughter and some tears. and although i know i will take some friends from this experience and have them forever, i will mostly take memories. and honestly i have so many memories that just make me look back and smile like all the little things people did for me when

in all honesty alex... i think you have the perfect attitude going into this. i know that youre scared about college (i am too... also being the only one from dcd at my school) because what you had here seems to be so perfect. and it probably was. i know you cherish your friends and value those relationships more than anything -- and thats why i dont think you'll lose them.

sure, you wont see these kids 24/7, but you wont need to. like you said, you have them in your memories, and a part of them will always be with you... in your heart. but youre going to have so much incredible fun at vanderbilt and youre going to make a whole bunch of new memories with new people. and im sure you'll enjoy and appreciate that experience just as much as your previous ones.

and... taking from my entry about steping stones... its time to just run to the next base and see what it brings. the fear and anxiety that you feel now will bloom into love and laughter as soon as you get settled in. best of luck and so so so so much love!!!!
