This was written for loverstar's generous donation to help_haiti way back when. She presented the idea of a cop story and, being an avid Law & Order fan, I decided to do it up big.

First: To anyone on the flist or Twitter who was cheerleading since way back when. This thing took about 4-5 months to write and get through and edit, and I have no clue how it actually happened or where to go from here.
Second: to janissa11 for making the epub file, and talulababy for the Kindle file!
Third: to strangeallure for support and assuring me this story was nothing to resent and for giving overall guidance as needed. *smooches*
Fourth: ebcdic for helping with some of the Chicago, local issues. For looking over random cuts of the story since August. For looking over changes and a mess of drafts. But mostly for beta-ing this monstrosity in the last 48 hours because I was impatient and wanted to post this month You are amazing!
And last, but never, ever least: kelleigh who's been with me since the beginning, pushing and encouraging and winking whenever I bitched over it. HER ART. It's gorgeous and she totally just started doing it (or maybe I asked about a main banner first I DON'T REMEMBER, IT WAS SO LONG AGO!), but she absolutely gave up her own free time to make a whopping 60-some graphics (including last-minute changes and additions in the last few hours) and I couldn't love her more than I do at this very moment ♥
