This is totally random and out of the blue, but - does she like being a PT? I keep feeling like life is nudging me in that direction but it'd be a pretty big shift from what I've officially studied, so I can't figure out if it's worth going for it. (There's a long long story involved.)
She really loves it, but it's what she's wanted to do since before HS. She's a big sports fan and always wanted to be a trainer for football. She does hate some of the typical office-type issues because physical therapy is not a typical office setting but there's a lot of paperwork and she works odd hours since the clinic's open like 7am-9pm, someone has to be there early and someone has to be there late. I know she hates that she's overbooked a lot - going from one appt to the next to the next, and can't do her notes until much later and she always worries she'll miss something after that time, but overall, she really does enjoy it.
Fantastic! Love the banter and the pace, so enjoyable from beginning to end. I liked how invested Jensen was in being a professional and not compromising his ethics with regards to Jared and his privacy. Awesome work! ♥
YAY! I love the banter between these, too, and I'm glad you did to. Also how Jensen was focused on sticking with Jared and his knee, and still hanging on to some hope :D
I really do love turning Jared over a bit upfront, but of course, twu wuv perseveres and they're good together. And yes, hands all over each other is fabulous as well.
So when I was a teenager I was a fanatical Bulls fan and every night I would be like "So, God! Please let the Bulls win the championship again this year! And please let me marry Scottie Pippen! And have many awesome, tall children! Sound good? Amen!" In other words, this entire fic made me squee with nostalgia and delight! :DDDDDD
This might sound a bit weird, but I love how you manage to make it a happy ending while still keeping it realistic. It's not perfect (Jared's not going to come out of the closet any time soon, for example) but it's enough, at least for the time being, and they are allowing themselves to just be happy until more can come.
Plus hot sex and snarky banter and schmoooooop. Awesome job! ♥
LOL! Man, I used to watch SO MUCH BASKETBALL it was probably sick. And I maybe lasted one season after Jordan retired for good. It hurt to watch the Bulls flail in his absence. Sigh. BUT! I'm glad it made for some good fic bonding! :D
