so I'm a working Parisian gal now. my internship is okay. the work is fine, it's just that from 11-7:30 I'm in a small office with just my boss, staring at a computer screen. and she mostly talks to me in English. not that I ever thought producing would be a good line of work for me, but this week has pretty much convinced me that it's the worst

it's true that Leslie Caron does have the most obnoxious of horse faces in An American in Paris, but she looks really cute in Gigi and others so I always chalked that up to unfortunate shortcomings of early Technicolor. at any rate, nowadays she's absolutely charming.
