so I'm a working Parisian gal now. my internship is okay. the work is fine, it's just that from 11-7:30 I'm in a small office with just my boss, staring at a computer screen. and she mostly talks to me in English. not that I ever thought producing would be a good line of work for me, but this week has pretty much convinced me that it's the worst ( Read more... )

it's true that Leslie Caron does have the most obnoxious of horse faces in An American in Paris, but she looks really cute in Gigi and others so I always chalked that up to unfortunate shortcomings of early Technicolor. at any rate, nowadays she's absolutely charming.
