Muse - The Resistance

Utterly bizarre. Completely different from any other Muse album, yet it is instantly recognisable as Muse, even though they certainly wear their influences on their sleeves at times. Opener "Uprising" sounds suspiciously like a cross between the 1970s Dr Who theme and "White Wedding", which somehow works. "Undisclosed Desires" is a Depeche Mode

Reminds me of the theme from when I was tiny and watching Tom Baker, or maybe Peter Davison.

It fades in and out of the song, but once you know it's there you can't miss it...
