Hello! This is a bit strange. and hopefully not creepy. A very close friend of mine had a live journal (orphenadrine). You commented in it a bit. He has been missing since April, and we are down to the most reaching ideas of trying to find him. Hence me contacting random people who left comments in his live journal. I'm not sure if you even knew him personally, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try every possibility.

I'm afraid I don't know Zach personally, just through livejournal, so I don't have any information for you. Good luck with your search - hope you manage to find him soon.
Wow, I found your blog simultaneously using two different methods, what a coincidence. First, I made a Xinjiang community on LJ so I added most of the people I found with Xinjiang or Uyghur to the community - so an invitation should be sitting in your LJ mailbox.
But secondly, I'm in correspondence with Hua Shan middle school in Korla with the hopes of teaching there next year. This all started with my reading of Michael Manning's blog, so I was searching the internet for other blogs possibly written by people who have taught for Circle English, and here I am! Fantastic.
I'm definitely going to have to do some reading for through your archives. I've emailed David Symington and apparently Circle English is now defunct, but David is still arranging for volunteers to teach at Hua Shan Elementary, directly for the school. Reading your thoughts on your experiences there is definitely a priority.
