I think you can either turn it off (communications) entirely, or not at all, but there isn't a way to selectively turn it off, by design (I was told it didn't foster networking if you turned off all communications except from your direct friends).

I think you should shake them up and CC Dartmouth! But only because it annoys the crap out of me that I can't control it.

Oh, bah. I haven't investigated it much, but that is icky. I thought you could do only friends at least.

You can set it so that only friends can blind email you. But for Messages or Events, it's all or nothing, as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what I did, but I killed the spammage. It might have been message_settings-> forward-> never

That is too funny. I think you should give them a hard time. Mostly because it would make me laugh.

The incircle spammage is a bit much. I haven't been bothered enough yet, but I thought there was some setting to limit it in the incircle settings. I thought you could at least limit it to "only friends" vs "FoF".

What, did law school delete all your mad tech skillz? You can place limits on volume but not scope for some message types using digest settings so you need to either turn it off entirely or set a digest preference.

Login to inCircle, click on the My Network tab and then under that, Settings.

Set preferences for message and events reminders (none, immediate, daily digest, weekly digest).

Set preference for event reminders.

Set preference for direct communications from other users.
