Ebay fail.

So I never post here but I now have something to rant about. Ebay has as of today disabled wildcard searches! Anyone who is remotely familiar with database searches understands the importance of the wildcard. So far there is no substitute and their "enhanced" search engine is returning 0 results on stuff I know is listed, as it worked yesterday ( Read more... )

Ever notice when corporations go public, they are suddenly taken over by complete, utter stupidity?

I remember when eBay was still a small, innovative company. Now I don't feel comfortable selling things on it.

Sorry to be stupid, but what are wildcards in this case? Something that got used automatically or something you had to use manually?

Sellers would be affected for sure if their items can no longer be found in searches.
