Perfect

I never really doubted that Rowling would write the perfect end to a perfect series. Ok, so I had a few reservations, but I was quickly reassured that I was in the hands of a master. I will again not give anything away, but just say that I couldn't have written a better ending had I placed in the book everything I wanted. It's sort of sad that ( Read more... )

i'm reaallly sad that it's over and i haven't even finished the book yet. reading with a newborn is a pain in the ass.

She even managed to write an end which you can't tell in one or to mass-media-compatible sentence. So it is way more difficult than the "Dumbledor dies" bit from the last book.

I just wonder how they want to create a movie from this. They failed to do the Order of the Phoenix... all in all they failed for every book except the Goblet of Fire, which had the most cinema compatible content of all - the important parts of the story were pretty much organized into on plot instead of the gazillion subplots of the other books...
