I only started the beard because the swelling and stitches made it difficult to shave my chin. It is longer and covers my whole face now. Sorry to disappoint.
ok, so i don't think you've made any previous mention of this business during that nine month hiatus, so dare i ask you what in the hell happened last year? owww.
Perhaps I haven't, but that's primarily because it was (and remains) a rather traumatic experience and there are still outstanding criminal (and possibly civil) court cases in which the events of 11 Aug 2006 will be the center of discussion. Long story short, I was assaulted at my previous job by a fellow employee, who had threatened me before yet was not adequately dealt with by my boss who left the country for four weeks with no one in charge to prevent said events from occurring. I not only received ten stitches in my lower lip and chin, but was further threatened that I would be "stabbed in the back" and "would lose a lung or a kidney" if I ever a) told anyone about it or b) returned to work at the office again. Thus, I now work at a different (and safer) company and have an order of protection and assault charges pending against my attacker.
