In drink recipes, the word "mix" may only be used as a verb, as in "Mix thoroughly."
Using it as a noun "1 pkg. margarita mix" is sinful, treasonous, stupid, ugly, unfuckingcouth, declasse, skanky, and, well, Just Not Done.

That's why older cookbooks are better, there's far fewer of the box-of-this/can-of-that recipes.

Although now and then I'll get on a wierd kick of drinking something like Sazeracs or Mai Tais. Last night, for some weird reason, I was craving a banana daquiri. Probably a good thing that Iw as too lazy to actually make one. ;)
