I'd only ever listened to the spill canvas for a few songs before, but Cody had all the albums and I started listening.
every song is fucking beautiful, why did it take me so long to fully get into them?

i love them. my ex introduced me to them, at a hard time in my life, before we were dating, just after splitting with my high school bf. there's a lot of emotion in it and in me when i hear it. ya maybe it's super emo but i love it. it's so very personal, which seems so lame to say bc obviously anyone can make personal connections with songs, just like horoscopes, but...it still holds that for me.
and I still cry, because it's so beautiful....
