You convinced me that Faith and Dean are perfect for each other. I was rooting for their little romance and so bummed their destinies separated them. The hints of meeting in the future SPN canon via the slayer dreams were really intriguing. Excellent story!

Thank you for reading the story and for your kind words! I truly believe that Faith and Dean are perfect for each other, it's a belief that was fortified by my watching of the first four seasons of SPN in a month and a half. And most of the time I just kept thinking about what would happen if Faith and Dean met. I also entertained the idea of Dean and Buffy but there's just something more visceral about Faith and Dean. I think it's also because both of them in their respective fandoms are the ones that act and talk tough and are willing to do things (in the morally gray area) others aren't. Also they are both the same kind of lonely. They both always get left behind or end up isolated. They are both always expected to sack up and aren't ever really expected to cry or wimp out... I don't know in the end the two of them made perfect sense to me. Then I was listening to "Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling Stones one day and the scenes in chapter one of this fic were flashing through my mind so I had to run and write them down. Hee! I do that too sometimes. Rambling more than the person who comments. It's a sign of enthusiasm and investment in the characters. Your response made me remember the moment it became obvious that Faith was trying to suicide by cop via Angel and my heart broke for her. I judge the scoobies pretty harshly for the way they left her vulnerable to the Mayor. Dean's also expected to be tough without backup and emotional support. They have a lot in common.

-- OMG, despite my mentioning of the bite mark in my fic, I had forgotten about that element of it! And you're totally right.

I judge the scoobies pretty harshly for the way they left her vulnerable to the Mayor.

-- You know I vacillate between judging them and understanding their reasoning. As for Giles and Wesley *tsk tsk* they totally dropped the ball on that and they definitely are to blame for a lot of what happened to that poor girl.

Dean's also expected to be tough without backup and emotional support. They have a lot in common.

Finally finished the whole thing, I loved it. Great job, bb :D Normally I hate reading about post-Robin Faith, because that experience changed her, and not in a good way, but you pulled it off well. It was sad, but very fitting for them.

Sooo, sequel in the future, maybe? You totally set it up for one! Lol.

Normally I hate reading about post-Robin Faith, because that experience changed her, and not in a good way, but you pulled it off well. It was sad, but very fitting for them.

I think that Faith will always revert back to her default setting and I think that Robin had too many Mommy issues for them to ever last. I think he had a purpose to serve and that the way I chose to write it was well.... setting up for a sequel *cough cough* maybe!

I do wanna write a sequel but I don't know if it'll be another Big Bang or a bunch of one-shots or a multi-chapter... I'm kinda basking in the having finished a fic for the first time in like FOREVER afterglow right now. And I'm swamped with work.

Thank you for the comments it means a lot. Would love to hear what really worked for you and what was most IC because that is something I'm always so nervous about in fics!
