I wish I had more time for a lot of similar things like the music writing angle. But I've a hard enough time with actual words. If I took that up, I'd have no productive output.

I can weave baskets and am not bad at archery, but I have never spun and am not sure what naalbinding is.

Incidentally, I found this when I was looking through the student orgs at my academic destination: http://www.nmu.edu/organizations/node/106?org=289

Heee! I have friends who play out there I think. I can hook you up! :D

Naalbinding is ... sort of like crochet and sewing. Or something.

I know exactly ONE person in the area, not counting the admissions rep who worked with me through the application process. :D If you know anyone, by all means, feel free to introduce us. I don't know a TON about SCA, but I've been interested in exploring it for a while now. At the very least, I tend to love the people who play in things like SCA, they're fun and they don't think I'm completely strange. :D

Things I've tried and do not expect to do again - ..... Throwing knives & axes (eh...) *sadface*

On a more serious note, though... why are you unlikely to try again?
The TW marshal/teacher/enthusiast in me is curious...
