Summer reading

Jun 23, 2008 12:18

I need recommendations for things to read this summer now that I have a shiny new library card (even though I haven't been to ICPL in 2 years and lost my card long ago, they still had my fines in their computers... good for them.)

Wizards First Rule (Sword of Truth Series) - Terry Goodkind. Fucking rocked my world, best book I've ever read.

Salman Rushdie. If you have a working knowledge of Islam, read "The Satanic Verses." If you don't, try his short stories, which are collected in a book called "East, West."

Poetry: T.S. Eliot's 4 Quartets.
