this is one of those nights where everything makes a sort of overruling sort of sense. i am not sure if it is the fact that i am sleep deprived or what. but things seem to be winding around to what appears to be... here? i guess

if you are feeling discomforted by this then think about poor me! actually though, there is a weird rightness about it huh? We couldnt have spent our lives making paperdolls while watching MTV Spring Break. Did I ever tell you about the day you guys left? I think kit had stopped by on the day before to say goodbye and i was fine, totally like, "have fun and stuff!" But then later that day I started crying during the run at soccer practice and I had to go have a time-out with my dad. Isn't that funny, the way things jump at you at the weirdest times.

I hope i get to see you guys on saturday. loads of food and possibly roasted marshmallows.

gala, i got so mixed up with my dates. are you still here?! when are you leaving. i need to say goodbye to you. i hope i still can. i feel like i could never forgive myself if i let you go to new orleans without doing it. i need to offer you some wisdom, anything to help you get where you're going. i feel it is my obligation as an older peer, but most importantly, your friend. if i am too late then know i am kicking myself into next semester. and that you will be fine. out of all my friends i worry about you the least because you've always seemed so... grounded. that word doesn't quite describe it. it's a gala sort of phenomena. you just are never phased by anything. you just roll with it all. i wish i could be like that. just remember going into freshman year in a new place that things are going to be totally crazy, but that is ok. that is how they are supposed to be. i hope you love it. because you need to love where you are, don't let anyone else tell you something different. most importantly, breathe. this next year is going to be

darling kat, you always say exactly the perfect things. I will be here until the morning of the 24th. I can't leave without saying goodbye either, we will work out a way for us to maybe grab a bite or something.

and excuses for visits are always the best. I will be in New Orleans all year except for christmas and summer, so if that is where spring break takes you then awesome!
