Your happiness is just as important as his Alex. If you don't feel you can trust him and if he isn't showing you the respect that you should have as his partner you have to ask if you are comfortable with things continuing as the have for another five, ten or twenty years. If the answer is yes then you need to find a way to work through it (maybe couples therapy?) if the answer is no you might need to move on with your lives. Your both still very young and might need room to grow... That doesn't mean that you can't still love and care for each other.
