"she waited for days
sitting around for the reply
one that can change
one that brings hope
one that raises her spirits

shes so broke
choking on every last single bead of hope
jepordized by everything she knows
isnt it crazy how fast life goes
on into somewhere she doesnt belong

and i tell her
keep goin strong
people may be right
but others certainly are
