A christmas tutorial, from my last batch.

Selective Colors.



01.

Take your picture, crop it (100x100).

02.

Layer --> New Adjustment Layer --> Selective Color.

My settings:
Reds: -100 +8 +68 0
Yellows: +75 -68 -29 0
Greens: -34 -63 -67 0
Cyans: +48 -77 0 0
Neutrals: -16 -22 -16 0
Blacks: 0 -6 0 +11

03.

Duplicate your image, put the copy on top and set to screen 100%.

04.

Layer --> New Adjustment Layer --> Brightness/Contrast.

My settings:
-9 +58

05.

Use this texture (I'm really sorry, can't remeber the maker) and set it to Multiply 100%.

06.

Use this texture (by peachinparis ) and set it to Darken 100%.

07.

Use this texture (by haudvafra ) and set it to Screen 100%.

08.

Select all (ctrl+a) and Copy Merged (shift+ctrl+c). Paste your new layer and set it to Screen 20%.

09.

Layer --> New Fill Layer --> Solid Color.

Choose #281406 and set it to Exclusion 100%.

10.

Layer --> New Fill Layer --> Solid Color.

Choose #f76900 and set it to Color Burn 10%.

11.

Use this texture (by reyesphile ) and set it to Multiply 100%.
