OMG, I only watched few episodes so far, but all glowing reviews and recommendations I had read so far are **right**. This show so rocks!

I watched eight episodes of the first season so far and I think it is beyond awesome, it is extremely realistic, has a multitude of extremely flawed characters which have both bad and good qualities, like you know real people do :), however I must warn you, it is (to me, it may be not everybody else's reactions) extremely bleak and I am feeling suitably depressed by it already. I will definitely stick by it, because I do know work of art when I see it, but I do understand why after first season my brother (for whom I bought the show as a gift) told me that he likes it a lot, but he needs a few days of break, to be in different mood.

Ah, I expected that would be the case. Keep on hand some extreme comedy as follow up. Check.

You laugh, but I am also watching Dick Van Dyke show from netflix these days, I think it balances Wire very nicely hehe :)

Seriously - very good show, Wire I mean (Dick Van Dyke is also not bad comedy at all), but Wire? Somebody wrote that it could be compared with multichaptered russian novel. I totally agree.
