Nodame finally broke 10,000! FINALLY! I figure that's as good a reason as any to have a relationship/questions/ANYTHING GOES meme for Nodame, Makino, and Chuck.
Plus I foresee a reeeaaaally slow afternoon at work, ENTERTAIN MEEEE WHILE I'M TRAPPED HERE ;o;Also - since tomorrow evening marks the start of Chrismukkah - if you think your character

Chuck thinks of Ashe as being very put-together, composed, and kind of regal for her age; she pretty much fits her image of what an ideal princess should be in a lot of ways! She's honestly very touched by Ashe's apparent dedication to her kingdom and people/friends and thinks of her as being very honourable and kind-hearted. Please she's a lot of fun to talk to (and tease goodnaturedly!) and didn't seem to mind Chuck's rambling musings, so she'd definitely like to spend more time talking to and getting to know Ashe!
In regards to Rei, maaaan Chuck is really lacking in friends who are females that fit in the counselor bracket! E-even back at home (ilu Olive ♥). So I think she probably has this secret desire to make a lot of girlfriends she can hang out and gossip and just be girly with. Rei... doesn't exactly fit into that image, but Chuck had a very pleasant time conversing with ( ... )

What does she think of Ned's brood?
If Ned told her right now that Sylar ate people's brains, what would her reaction be?
(I know I'm being selfish but you said you'd be bored!!)

She thinks Ned's brood is adorable. And kind of ironically hilarious, considering how poorly he reacted to his half-brothers being illusionists, and here he is surrounded by young boys who are all SUPERPOWERED AND STUFF FOR REAL!!!! But she really thinks it's great that he's reaching out and connecting with people in general, especially his little bodyguard troupe, and she's a little proud of him too. Also super, super grateful that they're all willing to step-up and protect Ned, even if she feels kind of guilty that they're ( ... )

Chuck really likes Guy! He's friendly, charming, a great conversationalist, and seems to have a really easy-going nature! She likes that a lot, plus he's a lot of fun to hang out with. She genuinely feels very bad for him about his TERRIBLE HORRIBLE TRAUMA, but she's sure they'll find a way to work around it and still engage in all those "LET'S TEACH EACH OTHER STUFF \o/" activities they keep talking about. She's probably also spent a crapload of hours in the library reading up on TRAUMAS to see if she can't help find a way for him to overcome it >:

this doesn't have anything to do with RP but... I was wondering, do you know how much the actors had to practice music or if any of them already knew how to play? like, obvi it's Tamaki Hiroshi doing the conducting but I'm assuming it's not Ueno Juri's hands during the piano playing close-ups.

(Btw, the manga is really well-written and funny too! But I don't think anything can really match the sheer energy and joy that goes into the JDrama version. Both Chiaki and I prefer it by a longshot ♥)
ALRIGHT SO! I've watched a "Behind the Scenes" special before so I can actually answer this one :DDDDDD The actors all spent a lot of time with teachers and professionals to learn how to play their instruments and practice the pieces to be performed so that it all looked as realistic as possible for the concert scenes. They definitely weren't anything close to being SUPER AWESOME EXPERTS and I thiiiink they concentrated on the really obvious things (bowing for the violins, fingering for the contrabass, etc ( ... )

I adoooore Ueno Juri now, are there any other things with her that you recommend?
Also keeping in line with memeing and questioning, what's your favorite song from the series? :D

She was good in Rainbow Song, but the movie itself is nothing spectacular.
Apparently she was good in Engine, but I haven't watched it myself.
I'M NOT SURE I CAN RECOMMEND ANYTHING ELSE IN GOOD CONSCIENCE. She won an acting award for Last Friends - and deservedly so, because she was amazing in it! - but Last Friends is a TERRIBLE drama with TERRIBLE writing and even the good aspects just... cannot save it.
OH RIGHT THAT LAST PART um.
I have a special place in my heart for "Beethoven's Symphony No. 7", b-but the performance of "Rhapsody in Blue" was just... GUUUUUUH I love S-Oke ;o;b
