Listen to this song I made from the intro of a very famous pop song and try to guess which song its from.
Its called "Georgia Straight" click here: http://www.myspace.com/princeofwails

It’s a style that’s broken into bits
A full shade of yellow overhead
Full circle into your ribs
I dreamt I told you about it

A week image in the corer of my thoughts
Like a ship entering the Georgia straight
Take little boats to the mainland
See you walk along the street

Theses images are of day to day life
Not for you as your not home

About the lyrics:

Set in Vancouver.

1st stanza:
style, colors, shades, personality, suffering for something, working out things in your dreams.

2nd stanza:
Explaining how I feel about songs I’m going to write. Their coming but don’t know what they are until they arrive. The ship(and later crew member) is a simile for songs. Crew member leaves the ocean liner (I’ve always wondered about the lives of people on huge cargo ships) I walk past this person on the street, as sometimes I’m not able to write a song or I just sing it for a second and its gone.

3rd stanza,
The thoughts of the crew member and my thoughts as a person who used to live in Vancouver and how I view the downtown area as day to day life but they would see it as a tourist.
