And yes, we need games with good story, good gameplay (and replayability), lots of content, and which are neither stupidly obnoxiously drawn-out nor mind-numbingly simple.
We either get zomg graphics and nothing story-wise, or the 2 hour long game we just spent 50+ dollars on.
I dunno what it is about western games. Sometimes the character models do not move as fluidly. If you've seen sports games and all those macho games, the characters are quite boxy looking. It's very exaggerated between men and women (they still look like boxes except one body part that looks like they went into a 90210 clinic).
Dragon Age is interesting so far but the characters... staggering (yes I know it's the style and it works for their concept), over detailed, with weird looking teeth and eyes (works better for the demons than the good guys).
I keep looking at gamestop seeing if there is anything worth playing. I remember having a huge list of stuff i wanted to buy. Now of days it's like: this is it? I find more entertainment value from watching videos from the Escapist than actually playing the games
