What happens

When I work in Flash, a seemingly simple project can turn into such a technical marathon, I lose sight of the project.

I need to start drawing (yes, on paper) the idea. The problem is I still hit my head on the technical wall and make myself dizzy.

I wish I was a fast enough coder not to loose sight.

Oh well, back to work.

I admire you that you are working in Flash and (it sounds like) you are doing ActionScripting? That stuff is not easy! It takes really intimate knowledge of Flash scripting objects and while the structure may look familiar a la JavaScript or other scripting, knowing all of the objects and what they do can take a lot of time learning.
I know ZERO about it -- it's one of those things on my list of to-do's to learn.
Good luck :)

I have some CDs/tutorials on Flash and ActionScripting. I know you once mentioned needing to work in Flash. I subscribe to www.lynda.com and own a few CDs. I can copy some for you, if you'd like. I find it the best way to get your feet wet. The tutorials are Quicktime movies of people/instructors working. Very good absorption rate. There is a lot to learn thu.
