It's a Date!

I finally got a Probate court date! My lawyer told me it would take two weeks to get one, so I waited almost four before I called her to check. She forgot about me again! The secretary said she would call the courthouse and call me right back. In ten minutes she had a date! So why would it take my attorney two weeks

Thanks Robin. I'll just be glad to get it behind me! I have a bunch of Jack's stuff sold that has titles--a couple vans, a camper and a truck and I can't let them go because the titles are in his name. So that will be a relief too.

I hear ya! Actually, I'm preparing something to say to the judge myself. My lawyer will be there, but I just can't trust her to fight for me, so I figure I can do better than she can.

Well, believe me, there are times my attitude goes south. But, I'm just keeping busy and working on my revision and hoping my book improves enough to snag an agent. That way I don't think about it too much.
