I've spent a lot of time recently thinking about our first kiss. By which I mean our third kiss.

This was technically our first, although there was no feeling in it at all. At least, not that either of us dare admit to. Just a bit of fun, even though I have to say that that first taste left me wanting a lot more

Now that you've brought this up I can say the same of Anaïs and I. The first time I kissed her, it wasn't on the lips; it was her forehead and cheek, to say goodbye after we'd first met in person. Our first real kiss happened a month later, and it was really sweet and lovely because it had been long in coming. There were others after that, but the one I remember probably the most vividly was the one that brought on what would be our first intimate night together. I think that was the most powerful and poignant as far as "first" kisses go.
