I've been storing up all these crazy ideas for blogs.  See, I want to be so clever and so creative.  I want to never post anything lame...so I wind up posting nothing at all.  Why am I so averse to writing about regular day-to-day stuff?  Maybe I'm dissatisfied with my life.  Maybe the time just gets away from me.

I'm glad to hear the man was able to be saved. My dad had to have an emergency appendectomy during a family Christmas vacation we were taking. It was so scary. Since that time, I've forever been terrified that any stomach pain I experience is actually my appendix.

PS-if everyone adhered to your criteria of only posting clever/creative entries...LJ would be a ghost town.

It lives! Also, your experiences, while not suitable for the children (OH NOES, THE CHILDREN!!) are interesting in a charmingly morbid sort of way. Kind of like your lj icons, only better.
